Undercover Boss is a large franchise of shows that originated in the United Kingdom in 2009. Since then, there have been many successful versions of it into other various countries, notably the US version aired on CBS. The show has a unique presentation and idea. A high-ranking executive, or even an owner, of a company goes undercover as a brand new employee of their own company, as an attempt to see what their company is like from a new employee’s view. After a week of working, the boss finally reveals his true being, and rewards those who he determined were hard-working or a good asset to the company, and punishes those who he found were not quite as loyal to the company. The show leads to some very interesting and amusing situations episode by episode that are sure to intrigue any viewer!
