The X-Factor is a music competition show designed to find new singing talent. It began airing in 2011. The show features judges who act a coaches to a specific category of contestants, helping decide various aspects of what the contestants should sing, how to sing it, and so on, while they judge the contestants from other categories. At the end, the winner of the show is given a $5 million dollar recording contract with Epic Records.
