Grey’s Anatomy is a medical drama show that initially premiered on ABC as a midseason replacement show. It has lasted for over 8 seasons since. It focuses on the lives of a group of medical residents and interns, as they gradually grow and sprout into experienced and well-versed doctors. Taking place in the fictitious Seattle Grace Mercy West Hospital, every episode begins with a sort of narrative from the head doctor, Dr. Meredith Grey. The show focuses more on character development and character relations more so than typical hospital ethics and ideals.
