The View is a talk show that aired in 2007 on ABC featuring a panel of women discussing popular news topics. The talk show was created by Barbara Walters to give opinions of women in various stages of their lives with diverse opinions. The moderators of the group have included Rosie O’Donnell, Meredith Vieira, and Whoopi Goldberg. Barbara Walters steps into the series every now and then, but the main panel of woman have included Joy Behar, Elisabeth Hasselbeck, Sherri Shepherd, Star Jones, and Debbie Matenopoulos.
The Vanilla Ice Project is a reality series that aired in 2010 on the DIY network hosted by 80’s rapper turned into house flipper, Vanilla Ice. In the series Vanilla Ice and his contractors work room by room as they renovate his 7,000 square foot mansion, from top to bottom. The series covers everything from landscaping on a budget to even pimping out an old garage. 
Vegas is a period drama show on CBS that began airing in September, 2012. Taking place in the late 1960s, the show follows Sheriff Ralph as he deals with a Chicago mobster by the name of Vincent Savino, as he sets up an operation to the west. 
The Vampire Diaries is a supernatural teen drama show that began airing on The CW in 2009. The series focuses on a small fictional town called Mystic Falls in Virginia, as it observes all the supernatural beings that exist in it. The show focuses on a love triange between the protagonist Elena Gilbert and the two vampire brothers, Stefan and Damon Salvatore.
The Voice is a singing competition held in various countries around the world, beginning in the Netherlands. The show starts off with 3 stages of competition. The first stage, the blind stage, has coaches who listen to the contestant’s song, without seeing her, and if they like the contestant’s voice, they turn their chair to signify they would like to work with them. After the coaches have enough contestants, they move on into the ‘battle stage’, where the coaches select two of their team members and have them sing a song together in front of an audience. Afterwards, the coach chooses who will advance to the final stage, the ‘live stage’. In this stage, the remaining contestants sing live on television, and the viewers at home dial in and cast their vote. The person with the highest votes on a team moves on to the finals, where the remaining four contestants sing an original song. The winner is chosen from this.
