Downton Abbey is a British period drama that takes place in the fictional Downton Abbey, a Yorkshire country house. It is the seat of the Earl and Countess Grantham, and follows the lives of the aristocratic Crawley family and their servants during the reign of King George V. The series starts off when the family learns that the next heir apparent down in the sinking of the Titanic. The first season spanned two years before World War I. Season two happens during the Great War. Season three goes from 1920 to 1921. Get engrossed by all the lies and deceit of the staff as they try to do their best to get in the good graces of the Crawley’s.
