This ’30’s period movie was clearly made with a social message, but it is as good a message today as it was then. There are cliches and stereotypes aplenty, but WHAT BECOMES OF THE CHILDREN shows how the neglect and selfishness of people in “good” families can damage their children’s lives. I recommend it.
That was an awesome movie…Now if only we could be more responsible of the like…
It’s a very relevent movie even to our materialistic society nowadays. It’s very fortunate that every thing ended on a happy note but does it in real life? The film reminds me of a poem I wrote some years back on Divorce. Here goes:
Divorce;
Shattering lives,
Of innocent children;
Adults , devoid of love,
Decided to severe marriage vows,
Ignoring the rights of their offsprings,
Of their warm cozy nest;
Forsaking parental responsibility,
For individual freedom;
Broken pieces,
Irreparable!
WOW as said above you would think this was a modern day movie as a lot of it is so it’s so true to todays modern lifestyle. Great movie, enjoyed it very much.
