    Great documentary!

  2. Susan says:

Humans are the most dangerous animal on the planet … destroying the earth. Notice how abundant animal life was in Africa in 1930….everywhere people go they kill. Felt sorry for the poor lions.

  3. Adolph Moreno says:

Such is the nature of men, such is the nature of the beast. Well done. One year, I was yet to be born, when this movie was made. Great job, thank you .

  4. Kristin says:

Alfred Said would have had a field day with this film; the condescending portrayal of the ‘other’ can be appreciated in the context of this time, yet is still astounding. The narrator also makes many erronous observations as to the intelligence of various animal species. This film is a fascinating study, not so much of the Belgian Congo, but of the white man’s impressions and beliefs which the film represents.

    so boring story.dn’t see it.

  6. anthony says:

The film shot obviously was more important than “the boy” that was eaten by the lion.

Sorry to say but it was impossible for me to see the entire film though I was keenly interested. After running for 4 min. and 6 sec it stopped each time. I have tried nearly for 20 times. One does not know what is the problem. Will you please look in to the matter.
