New site is here

We have finally put the new site up. It still has some issues that we need to fix in the following days and after that we will start to add new channels.

We know that there are problems with adult channels… they are buffering all the time. The problem is with provider, since too many people watch them at the same time the servers cannot handle it. We hope that the situation will resolve soon. Also, you might try to come back some time when there are not so many people online (early morning, late evening).

We are sorry for any inconvenience, and just to let you know, we have over 320 non-porn tv channels and they work without any problem :)

Count down to new site

Count down to new site has begun. Grand opening is 5 days! We will add even more channels, so make sure you come back to check it out.

About Internet TV

In the past, television was only distributed via cable, satellite, or terrestrial systems. Internet TV is basically defined as the ability to view video streams over the Internet. The primary models for Internet television are streaming Internet TV or selectable video on an Internet location, typically a website. While in the past reduced bandwidth has confined the images to small windows and grainy resolutions, newer codecs like DivX and increased speeds of broadband have created extremely high quality images in sizes around 320 by 200. As the size of the images increases, the size of the picture points also increases creating a less defined picture. To a great degree, this reflects more of an attempt to save the costs of streaming bandwith than the technical ability of generating a clear picture streamed full screen over the Internet.

Today - with the increase in Internet connection speeds, advances in technology, the increase of total number of people online, and the decrease in connection costs - it has become increasingly common to find traditional television content accessible freely and legally over the Internet. In addition to this, new Internet-only television content has appeared which is not distributed via cable, satellite, or terrestrial systems. Very few cable and satellite television stations stream the same content over the Internet, thus protecting the cable systems’ contracted “right of first use” for the content.

Internet Television services have at least two different models:

  • Free
  • Subscription based

MyEasyTV.com offers only free channels, there is no sign up or payment needed. You just click, relax and watch.

Problems with some channels

We know there were problems with some channels lately, specially in the adult category. Problem is that the server gets to busy and channels buffer over and over again. We hope that this problem will be fixed soon.

If you find a channel that does not work, please do let us know using “Contact Us” tab on the home page.

New site will offer even more TV channels, nicer design, but we will keep it as easy to use as possible. If you have any suggestions of what we should add or change let us know by clicking “Contact Us” tab on home page.

We get a lot of emails from people telling us that they love our site and that the most important thing is to keep channels updated and working. We realize that and we do our best to keep them working and add new channels when we found something good. We feel that just randomly adding channels that nobody wants to watch just decreases the quality of the site. So we will only add a channel if we feel it is worth adding. Let us know if you know of any good channel, again by contacting us through our site.
